3-Dimensional Leadership Patterns

Course Summary

There is no blanket way to become a good leader. Every leader that remains at the top of the business ladder has spent years developing and perfecting their skills, and no two leaders are alike. However, they are usually following the same or a similar model.

The 3-Dimensional Leadership Patterns were established to make a business function at maximum effectivity. The theory relies not on the business itself or the service it provides, but on the employees. To lead others, you need to have clear communication and expectations, an empathetic yet firm approach, and the ability to increase morale.

To correctly delegate tasks, you should have an advanced understanding of the types of employees within the workplace, know how to encourage each individual to perform at their best and understand how their skillset can best benefit the business. The 3-D method relies on process knowledge and skills to produce value. This method also has a strong focus on time management, with the ability to predict any potential disruptions to tasks and make adjustments to ensure completion is still possible while maintaining a positive and dedicated environment.

This model ensures every person within a business is recognised for their contribution, and teaches the essential values, viewpoints and perspectives necessary to lead in every situation.

  • To create a positive and safe working environment.
  • To understand and explain the 3-Dimensions of Leadership.
  • To appropriately delegate work assignments within a team.
  • To implement the processes of Change Management for continuous improvement.
  • To adjust leadership styles to achieve a desirable outcome.
  • To recognise and support all roles within the business.
  • To establish and participate in activities that encourage positive organisational outcomes.

This course is designed for anyone who wants to develop their leadership skills to further excel within their career. It would be most beneficial for:

  • Operations Managers
  • Project Managers
  • Production Managers
  • Senior Executives
  • Executive Directors
  • Plant Managers
  • Sales Directors
  • Regional Managers
  • Development Directors
  • Directors of Operations
  • HR Managers

This course uses a variety of adult learning styles to aid full understanding and comprehension. Participants will review studies of 3-Dimensional Leaders to understand the vitality of being a prominent leader. These observations of established and successful leaders will offer examples of 3-D concepts within the workplace that can be implemented.

In teams, participants will review leadership examples and identify how they have incorporated 3-Dimensional Leadership within their business and will analyse how this has led to success. Furthermore, in role-playing activities and group projects, participants will interpret these concepts and apply them to themselves, and practice the Change Management and Emotional Intelligence methods. Participants will be able to provide feedback to each other to further develop their skills. This method of hands-on learning is crucial for participants to gain a thorough understanding of 3-D Leadership, and comprehensive knowledge of the theories and ways to incorporate them into the workplace.
